CLEAR ON YOUR VALUES BUT HAZY ON THE VISION?

I LOOK CLOSELY AT WHAT YOU’VE BUILT & TRANSLATE THE POTENTIAL INTO A CLEAR VISION.

for the ones who refuse to conform.

WHERE GRIT MEETS POLISH

Open Road Studio is what happens when you take a free-spirited, Bruce Springsteen-loving Scottish lass and drop her into some of the most polished, detail-obsessed environments in the world.

Over a decade spent travelling, working in exceptional spaces on land and at sea, absorbing how the best places look, feel and leave their mark. Schooled by the road, not the classroom — which is exactly why I see things differently.

I can't help but envision what's possible. That's not a skill I developed — it's just how I'm wired. Today I work alongside independent founders who give a damn about what they're building — as a creative eye and outside perspective on what their brand is, and what it could become.

Why work with me?

Authenticity

I don’t follow trends for the sake of it. I start with what’s already there — shaping something that feels true to you, not just what’s popular.

Aligned

It’s not just about how things look — it’s how everything works together. From identity to space to content, I help bring clarity so it all feels considered and consistent.

Attuned

With a background in high-end hospitality, I’ve developed a sharp eye for detail — noticing the small things that shape how something feels, and the ones that quietly hold it back.

Approachable

No big agency layers, no overcomplicated process or jargon. Just me - easy to work with, focused on understanding your vision and keeping things clear and straightforward.

“Christie brought a fresh perspective to Milkman, with a strong instinct for how a space and brand should feel. She quickly identified areas where we could elevate both the experience and visual identity.

She shared a range of thoughtful ideas for a potential rebrand, along with creative input on content, all grounded in a genuine understanding of hospitality. It was valuable to have someone look at the business from a different angle and highlight opportunities we hadn’t fully considered.”
